In order to obtain it, your company must be verified by our environmental staff, who conduct a rigorous survey of the activities and initiatives undertaken by your company. Any company, regardless of size, can apply for the certificate.

Our certification team uses a proven approach to evaluate each company’s certification documentation. As part of the assessment process, two independent assessors will review your company’s activities and initiatives and then confirm a numerical score according to a charter and rules that are set by us, and have been compiled in conjunction with multinational institutes working on planetary and environmental conservation not only in Europe, but across the globe. This method ensures that each assessment is impartial and consistent.

We guarantee that all companies progress through the assessment process within 12 weeks of registering a company and applying for certification. During the evaluation process, you will receive the following from us:

• An initial assessment of the company and its green initiatives with comments and observations
• a final evaluation of the company
• a numerical score and star rating for the company
• suggestions for steps to improve your sustainability and environmental performance that will improve your efficiency while benefiting our environment
  Certification is valid for 1 year. Recertification can be started at any time. The cost of the certification process depends on the size of the company and the complexity of the environmental assessment of your initiatives, and will be communicated to you upon application for certification, along with instructions and a list of documents that must be provided in order to conduct a survey and evaluation of your activities by our staff.
